Orbital Dysfunctional System

ODS for short, a word the doctors classified from a psychological breakdown from hypersleep malfunction. Yes, hypersleep! Simply means it's in space, where no one will hear you scream!

This is a dramatic horrifying space journey that brings you some nerve-wrecking excitement!
Called The Eden Mission, that leads to this malfunction caused from a two long years of hypersleep in which the pilots ( astraunauts actually ) called it
Shown in theatres last year in October, I only managed to watch it from my home DvD in February this year. I have a bad habit, that is to watch a movie in theatre on the very first day or if I missed, I'll try to watch it at the final day! But the problem is, the theatre operators can't confirm which day is the last unless I happened to find out about it! Mostly I wouldn't and sometimes it's spontaneous - yes, I happened to be there! one in a thousand times!

Well, I'm not going to make this site a movie review page. it's just that movies kept coming on almost endlessly. I mean really good movies! And, mind you, psi-fis, horrors and very dramatic genres comes onto us more often than the rest! People just love this more! That's why after X-Files, you have Fringe! And now a remake of an older Tv series, "V" which has just completed it's Season 1.

Now, back to Pandorum. It's whole story is about this ODS, an illusion of side effects that happens on board a substantially hugh gigantic spacecraft, the Elysium. So the story begins and ends tragically! And the story begins the following opening sequence......

Year one at the planet Taris, population 1213, after the ship was evacuated and launched some 5,000 people into space, into oblivion.

1909 - Man landed on moon. World population - 3.6 billion.
2009 - Kepler telescope launched to search for Earth-like planets
World population - 6.76 billion
2153 - Paleo 17 space probe landed on planet Taris.
Food and water shortage are commonplace.
2173 - The battle for earth's limited resources reaches boiling point.
Spacecraft Elysium is launched.

The scene begins with the flight of Elysium where Pandorum became it's tragic ending!

Far From Grace!

When a soul crosses to the afterlife,

categorized under vulgar, blood, gore, nudity and sex!

Earlier this year in January, the movie LEGION has the story that God has lost faith in human kind. He sent His Legion of Angels to bring on the Apocalypse and humanity's hope lies in a group of strangers trapped in a desert of nowhere with their savior Archangel, Michael ( Bettany ). And the battleground for the human race begin till the end with the hope of one unborn child!

Long before these 2 movies that came about, there has been one such successful movie too! It was in 1998, entitled City of Angels, acted by Nicholas Cage and co-star  
Meg Ryan. Of course then there were others like this 2003 movie, Angels in America, which has Al Pacino and Meryl Streep with co-stars Emma Thompson. 
But this movie wasn't that much of a suspense and not a bit of horror in it.
Well, I just love those movies!

Over the weekend, I rerun this movie from my DvD collection.

It was a movie shown in theatre some time earlier 2006

I am a fanatic of horror movies and never get tired for more!

This story is about a group of youngsters playing a unreleased

ultra-realistic 3D online video game that they are not

supposed to own it yet!

And they opened a gateway to HELL!

The spell casted by what they read on their monitor!

Well, at least that's what it says!

Revival of mebeFree

It's been quite a long ( long ) while since I posted in here. 
Can't believe it's been over a year long!
Well, as a fresh start with my recent Breaking Point,
I recently wrote in Win Live Spaces to revive my bLoGs,
I must say I am ReBooting myself!

And I certainly would do the same for my bLoGspot!
So, for a fresh start at a new place at an Island far up North
of the country, I am lodged at a far side of town on a foothill
at the other side of the mountain and ably looking out from
a almost skyscraper building of 2 residential blocks.

Above is my newly setup of workstation at my SOHO room
which is almost a C-shaped configuration.
But the most important of all is I could work and bLoG at ease,
stay comfortably and move around conveniently.

I can move about into the city or some food centres,
shop around at the many malls and Hypermarkets
located at the 4 corners of the Island or
go about to the alongside the beaches for fresh air
and cool breezes let alone go for some cuisines.

This Island now even has a Hard Rock Hotel,
fully hard rock, so the fun never end!
And to live up to my reputation as The Midnite Cowboy,
to roam the nite scene ain't a problem at all!

But then of course to cope with the time zones online,
I'll still be that MiDniT3 bLoGger as usual, posting, linking,
chatting like everybody else ( especially the almost
buzy and crowded FACEBOOK ), commenting and
uploading pix and videos to share with everybody
( well, almost! ).

Thus, the revival of meBefree in bLoGspace.
And definitely I'll be seeing you as you, would be seeing M3!

The Future Leaps

Not too long ago, I spoke of the HD technology into the future. And now, in conjunction with this very new technology, the future is about to change, again! Yeap! It's the screen. Not only it's getting bigger views, but thinner and thinner that even the LCDs and the PLASMAs will be a thing of the past. How crude!

So, what's next? OLED of course! Stands for Organic Light-Emitting Diode, D is often mistaken for Display at most time. Well, that goes without saying that technology has kept on embracing the fight against global warming.

While this is coming out into the market, another touch screen technology is under scientific tests - water vapour! That would be in another near future, but soon. You'd be very surprised what the world is becoming!

This new OLED is called XEL-1 and it comes from SONY. This technology has been in use right in front of our very eyes almost everyday & yet most have not even realise it because it was too small to observe. Yes, it's the screens of the hand phones & certain music-player models.

The XEL-1 is so vibrant in colours, rich life-like and high in contrast so much so you'll catch your breath! When you look into it, it's as if you are looking through a window that's short of the glass! Another added marvellous feature to gulp is that it is only 3mm thick!! However, this piece of amazing equipment comes only in 11 ( eleven ) inch screen and costing at US$2,500 !

On top of that, though it supports hi-def signals, it is NOT a Hi-Defination TV and it has only 960 x 540 pixels to boast of. So, you'll need 4 of these to have a 1080p. However, not to be dismay as in actual fact the resolution does not necessarily be the proof of having more pixels to have sharper images on screens.Well, at least for now, the kick start of a new generation screens will be expected sooner enough.

Let me get some datas on the futuristic water-vapour touch screens like you saw in the movie, Minority Report casted by Tom Cruise. Until then, have a nice day!
