The Power of Ideas

This is one very sad story at the end when realized.
Though it is only fictitious, but this might be one incident of reality!
It was an idea, an idea that would kill a man but not his dreams!
That's how heroic stories almost always end!
But, do you know or do not?

This is how that story began..................

Remember remember, the 5th of November,.
the gunpowder treason and plot.
I know of no reason why the gunpowder treason
should ever be forgot.
But what of the man?
I know his name was Guy Fawkes and I know in 1605,
he attempted to blow up the House of Parliament.
But who was he really?
What was he like?
We are told to remember the idea and not the man,
because a man can fail!
He can be caught, he can be killed and forgotten.
But 400 years later an idea can still change the world!
I've witnessed first hand the power of ideas.
I've seen people killed in the name of them and die defending them!
But you cannot kiss an idea,
cannot touch it or hold it.
Ideas do not bleed.
They do not feel pain.
They do not love!
And it is not an idea that I miss.
It is the man!
A man that made me remember the 5th of November.
A man that I will not forget!

So, does anyone recognize this face? This mask?
It do look familiar isn't it? For those who are fans,
this don't need any explanation.
Some has known it but may not have watched it because
it is in Comic scripts before it became a movie.
However, this has been a DC Comic and a brilliantly
plotted fiction novel!

Yes, it is V for VENDETTA
I personally loved the speech spoken throughout the story!
I shall say it was fantastic! I just love it!
And the actor carried himself as superb as
the Director, James McTeigure!
Well, as it is you don't get to see the real face of V because
he is always hiding behind it's mask. And I would not
know if he has been Hugo Weaving.
I only knew and seen much of Natalie Portman,
the lead female role, Evey!

I really love the part that he spoke of the many words of V.
Almost in one breath that blurted them all!
I would not wanna write the whole incident
but I can relate those words that was being used.

vaudeville villain veteran
victim and villain
vicariously, vicissitudes
visage, veneer of vanity
vestige, vacant and vanished
valorous visitation
vexation stands vivified
vowed to vanquish these venal
virulent vermin van guarding vice
vouchsafing the violence vicious
and voracious violation of volition
verdict is vengeance in VENDETTA!

Finally, the word Vendetta is mentioned
after such long speech! Phew!
Worst is I would not understand many of it!
I needed dictionary and time to really understand
their meanings individually!

Wait! But that was not all! It continues......

votive not in vain
veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant
verify the vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose

Well, that was about it! Kinda indulgence to get so many words in V!

Honestly there has been much more words to really appreciate
and keeps one glued to his seat! The action might be a little
of the other movie by Hugh Jackman of the X-Men fame
in Van Helsing, about the vampire killer in his youthful days
but, in a different storyline.

This story is a predicament of a mass masacre place of
a certain scientific experiment called Larkhill Detention Centre,
a home that is called The Shadow of Gallery.

And that is how the story ends.
My, I really love getting deeper into it! I'd recommend getting the DvD
and watch it!

Like I said it before, this ain't a movie review bLoG but I really
love to relate them! Until another episode, I'll be seeing you more!
;-} as usual, cheerio! Have a pleasant week ahead!
I really wanna be here any other alternate day!

ps - this has been a movie produced by Joel Silver,
and I am his ardent fan!

S M I L E!
